But switching to green ammonia or other synthetic fuels poses a host of logistical and technical challenges, Brian Østergaard Sørensen, Head of R&D Two-stroke Business in Copenhagen, explains in our latest podcast.
The new fuels need to be available in the right quantities, at the right bunkering stations at the right time. Infrastructure and training for crews will need to be updated.
